Our Story

At Carefree Realty, we have been helping people buy and sell properties for over 30 years. Our success is built on a foundation of hard work, integrity, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients.

Carefree Realty has served the northern tip of Cave Creek, Scottsdale and all of Carefree for decades. Currently owned and operated by Designated Broker Steve Tracy, who is trained and educated in real estate, law and investments (former CIMA from Wharton) and real estate law (Juris Doctorate 1992) bringing a wealth of experience having owned a title company through resolving difficult issues in transactions and litigation we maintain a Christian conscience and Cowboy level of diligence brings a "results oriented" disposition. Versed in both commercial and residential transactions including investment grade price points (up to eight figures) where the opportunity cost of the asset acquisition is as much a consideration as the desire to own and possess the property. Wielding a wealth of knowledge and creativity can forestall certain issues while allowing creative work-arounds for other potential problems.  I enjoy providing a frank, accurate, and often refreshing view of real estate purchases, sales and investments for smart clients.
